Monohull Yacht: - A monohull is a type of yacht having only one hull. Monohull yacht is the typical design that most people imagine when thinking of a yacht. The monohull or single-hull Yacht is perhaps the most common yacht design in use today. Monohull design is a tested and very successful yacht type.

The advantages of a monohull are that the yacht is able to cut through heavy waves with ease. Having a single hull allows the monohull to distribute the weight where it will provide the most stable ballast while en route to the ship's destination.
